that channel, VCDECIDE, doesn't use original hardware. Also it appears that comparison video no longer exists.

yeah, it's not using precise enough calculations for the polygon coordinates. That or at such a high res the precision is lost. Happens in a lot of emulated 64 games. It's kind of useful here because you can see how the subdivision is still there as it would be on the PS1. The N64 version runs noticeably worse for this reason, too many polygons. I don't think this is an example of lazy porting however because look at how the PS1 uses those tiled floors to have unique textures. Seems to be just how the game is built.
