/vr/ - Retro Games

I kept all mine in boxes I packed up when I evacuated for a hurricane that happened when I was in high school in 2005, they're all sitting in my closet. I sometimes go and pick something out to play before I put it back, but by and large I emulate everything despite owning a physical copy of it.

I'm extremely neurotic and refuse to throw out anything, I have boxes in storage that contain birthday cards I got when I was 12 and a pair of backup drives that's contained every document I've ever written since 2001 when I first got a computer. I've still got my first cell phone which still powers on, an Ericsson flip phone, that contains pages and pages of text messages my first ex girlfriend sent to me over the course of three years. I have a photographic memory and cannot forget any detail of my past and so I cling to all of it completely unable to let go, I can vividly recall conversions I've had 25 years ago like it was yesterday and it weighs me down more and more every passing year as I think about every road not taken throughout my life and where it would've led me. Send help.
