Yes, CRT shaders on a CRT. This is part of a continuing experiment to see how closely I can match the real 240p performance on the same monitor. I can switch back and forth between 1600x1200p60 and 240p120 on two different inputs. This is from the 1600x1200 side, and it very closely matches the 240 side. With the use of shader parameter settings I can adjust scanline width and glow and emulate the look of a crt with a coarser dot pitch.

I believe it is getting to the point where some may find it desirable to find a nice high resolution CRT and "work their way down" to the looks of other, older CRTs from this high resolution and fine pitch on a case by case basis to match the look of what they are trying to emulate. Such as emulating the screen of a Commodore 1084s monitor, or a 1702. Or perhaps a Sharp X68000 monitor.
