It isn't photoshopped, it's a debugger, and most people are fine with PS2 stuff being posted on /vr/.

Do some research before you act like a cunt. Pic related is three other variants of the console that was shown above.

Same model as mine? That's pretty cool, Anon.

I've been trying to get my hands on what I believe is the Korean model which reads "TEST PS2", just because of how fucking awesome it looks.

Pic related, far right.

Here's my two favourite deals:
PS2 DTL-H30002 (Debugger) complete with a copy of Vice City, iToy, and a controller. Paid £50.00 (about 80.00$) for the lot, and it was well worth it, considering that it's regionless, and I'd been after one for a while.

Got a bag filled with the following for £7.00 (about 11.50$): Gamecube with some batman game in it (no wires), Sega Master System complete with a controller and light gun, a SCPH-1002 PS1 (no wires), a Dreamcast (no wires), Micro Machines for GBC, and a few other little bits and pieces.

Can't be bothered taking pictures right now, as it's 03:36am. Might do it tomorrow, if I have any spare time.

Sup, OP, development/prototype collector here.

The carts aren't worth much, considering that they're not really prototypes, but demo cartridges, which were often used in store kiosks, or used during meetings to show off which games your team was working on at the time. You're looking at between 25$ - 55$ each, to the very most. The demand for them isn't high enough, considering how many of them are floating around.

Binder and the other stuff ain't worth a lot either, and neither is the pen. The controller you speak of doesn't seem to be in the picture? Care to upload some clear shots of it, and I'll tell you if I recognise what it is, and what it's worth.

The stuff you have is mainly just executive stuff that was likely left over from an office clear out. None of it has any substantial value, but if I were you, I'd hold onto them, just because they're kinda cool to own.

Pic sorta' related. Some PS2 debuggers.

No, he's right, Anon. In some countries it is still being produced, but it will be discontinued next year, in March, world wide.

I don't really own any rare games. If we're allowed to bring consoles into this, though, I do own a PS2 Debugger (DTL-H50002). Looks identical to the one in the middle of my picture. I paid very little for it, as well, which is a fucking HUGE bonus, considering these things fetch a nice amount of money, in the UK.

It all depends on whether or not someone stumbles upon a warehouse filled with them. Don't say it can't happen, either, because it has, multiple times in the past. Look at the Mega Jet, for example.

I bought one of (pic related) recently, and I highly doubt that it will drop in value any time soon, especially when I picked mine up for just £50. I know it's not considered retro, but my point still stands.

The stuff that will never drop in value are things like NWC carts, prototype hardware, developer items, unreleased items, and betas. Basically, anything that was made in either very small quantities, or was never sold to the public to start with. Sealed games are unpredictable, because like I said in the first half of my post, someone could find a warehouse filled with sealed copies of Earthbound, Zelda, Trip World, etc. Hell, only last year, someone found a few thousand sealed copies of Jet Set Radio, in a storage locker.
