>its the mid-late 1990s
>it's a Friday after-school evening, and the sun is beginning to set upon the horizon
>head into local rental outlet with what little money you have from having worked your part-time job at the Chick-Fil-A
>browse around the vidya aisles looking for anything that catches your eye
>pick a completely random game to rent that you've never heard of before
>take it home
>pop it into your PS1/N64 and turn it on
>the title screen immediately greets you with a sudden blast of ambient drum-n-bass music, the likes of which you've never heard before; in fact you've been listening to shitty Marilyn Manson or Counting Crows or Weezer and other mainstream college-rock shit the radio or your school peers force-fed you all this time
>the game's entire soundtrack is full of airy futuristic techno with hazy, dreamlike synth pads and pattering catchy drumloops that never stop being awesome
>maybe even the gameplay itself isn't even that good, but you play the game obsessively until morning because its music is just that good and mind-blowingly new to you
What game was this for you?
