I had some kind of bug yesterday. I was doing a fighters' guild animal quest (ironically INSIDE the fighters' guild, so the quest giver called himself an idiot) but the spawning point of the bats was directly at the door, I accidentally hit the door while fighting them, triggering guards to show up, they asked me to surrender, I complied only to check how much I'd have to sit out and then load but instead they continued attacking me so I fought back. My HP was down to 0 but I didn't die (I'm not invulnerable, I just did some dungeon before that and died there 2 times) and when I checked my reputation after that it was on revered.
What the fuck is going on?
I kept it like that of course and no one's harrassing me. :)
