/vr/ - Retro Games

I have only played mother 3, and while I don't consider it the masterpiece I was led to think it was, I did enjoy the game a lot.
The end of the first chapter hit me hard, and I liked the quirky characters the world had. I also had a lot of fun with the combat, it feels good to do multi hit attacks.
The final battle didn't hit as hard as I'm guessing it was supposed to, but in retrospective it wasn't bad either.

Once in a while playing games like these that defy and play with conventions in games is quite refreshing and fun.

Also, I should note that we just missed on a perfectly good set of satan quints

you can separate well intentioned people with an arguably wrong outlook on things from shitty human beings by seeing how they react by the current culture of denunciation.

remember the Ion Fury shitshow? that showed the true character of a lot people, didn't it?
complete assimilation shows when its required of you to denounce anything that CAN be interpreted as even remotely "problematic", RWS in this case, Voidpoint last year, but this applies with everyone, not just e-celebs.


But thats enough of that. You know what's bullshit? having a kleer swarm spam requiring you circle dodge on a tight space with a chaingunner scorpion guarding the only exit, and having no rockets to deal with him quickly.
Fuck me, Plutonia gets memed for chaingunners but Croteam can give that wad a run for its money.
