This is inexcusable bullshit. You want to turn Doom into a Rogue-like? Fine. You want to give enemies new powers and abilities? Great. But you cannot tell me to fight against my psychological instinct to want to kill every demon I find, the moment I find it. This has been engraved in my brain thru 10+ years of circle strafing, you absolutely CANNOT reprogram that part of my FPS brain. My blood pressure is higher now, not from playing it, but from getting angry. Fuck you game.

GAH I fucking hate these monster designs. They look like they belong on MAGIC cards. That's not to speak ill of MAGIC, but they have a very distinct look and feel, a look that is definitely not Doom.
