Eh, agree to disagree on the themes part I suppose. The Trite and Quake ones are a bit debatable (though I think they work fine), but I see no issue with the Grell and Vulgar alongside standard Doom monsters. In fact I find they work quite well. Bear in mind one of the main goals of MonsterMash is to combine monsters that have a somewhat consistent visual theme without using modifications of existing Doom monsters - so no Stone Imps, Cyborg Demons, etc, etc. There's a focus on using original spritesets, or at least ones whose sources aren't so immediately obvious.

As for the Machine gun numbers, pic related. Problem is the way the weapon doesn't immediately center upon the beginning of the firing animation, which the ammo numbers rely on, hence the problem.
