Metal Warriors is by far my favorite game on the SNES.

I started typing out something along tge lines of "but who gets a console to only play the first party games?" But then realized looking at what tends to get talked about that it does happen in relation to Nintendo at least where even excellent games like Metal Warriors hardly get mentioned.

I would agree that sega tends to be more action/arcade focused across the board though.

I'm kinda the opposite, something about the Genesis just seemed to have more games I liked and my collection ended up being more than twice as big.

I didn't love the Snes or the games I liked on it any less though, the console war thing never made sense to me.
