/vr/ - Retro Games

Felt this game warranted it's own thread as not to hijack the Super Mario 64 one.

But I recently started playing this game via Project64 because I felt in the mod for an RPG game that wasn't fucking Skyrim so I figured I'd try out Orcarina of Time which had been on my list of games to play that I heard so much about. I must say it's pretty fun.

And I just did the one Cucco quest in Kakariko Village again to see what happens when I spoke to the lady again. Didn't think she'd give me another special item. She gave me a fine glass instead of an empty glass.

I followed a walk through for chapter 3 for all of the collectibles and songs, but apparently I didn't get enough spider tokens to unlock the adult wallet. The walkthrough said that I should have 14 since following it, but I had 12 now 13 after backtracking to the castle gate. How do you get back into the courtyard to access a tree that supposedly has a spider in it?

What is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

My favorite is Ocarina of Time. In my opinion it's story and gameplay are unmatched. I suppose it was also my introduction, so it has a lot of nostalgia for me.

/vr/ help I just beat ocarina of time for the first time and I've never had feels like this before what do I do?

So /vr/ I love you. I'm a small time streamer and Ive never played Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time before yesterday. I wanted to add a splash of retro to my gaming stream so I took a quick poll from a few of my followers and they chose Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Probably because Im pretty bad at puzzles.

However, I started and found myself enjoying myself. So I just finished the Deku tree. Any basic tips on what I should be doing?

Also, If you are really bored you can catch the stream live now. Its roughly 2:00 Central now. I'll be streaming for a little. I might also switch over to the Divinity Original Sin game which is a fantastic throwback to Baulder's Gate.

I always see people insulting OoT and saying it was the worst game in the Legend of Zelda series, but it's one of my favorites. Does anybody think that it's bad on here? If you do, can you please explain why? I always get told that it was just a rushed game.

Hey /vr/, I was hoping I could see if anyone else here shared my opinion on this. Personally, I feel that compared to its 16-bit counter-part (link to the past) ocarina of time is terrible. The game alone I don't have a problem with, but after beating link to the past and half way through my 2nd full play through, ocarina of time feels.... boring. Navi gives away the fucking boss weakness and I really hate how often the dungeon boss is close to the start of the dungeon instead of being at the top of the 5th floor like in link to the past. I am currently in the water temple in ocarina of time and have never once needed to buy a potion, the game is too easy on me. In link to the past however, I always kept potions on stock prepared for whatever evil lurked in the dungeons. I just don't see ocarina of time as the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ that deserves to be put on a pedestal for us all to worship as gods gift to the universe. Its just not as fun as Link to the past.
