Regrettably, the SFC/SNES of my past was placed near windows and the vents for the HVAC so they got plenty of sunlight and air throughout the years. It was not something that I thought of at the time and treated them like any other device at the entertainment center.

I got a couple from China, and they seem okay but I have not tested their composition. I wouldn't even know how to measure its toxicity but cats don't seem to appreciate its smell.

There is no place in direct sunlight some kid here won't just take the shell or destroy it for no reason. Either that or someone would assume it was litter and throw it away.
