Based. IMO PC version with SADX mod installer is the definitive way to play the game. The only argument in favor of the DC original is "It's the original"
Modded PC fixes every DX bug plus brings back all Dreamcast assets with the original lighting engine, and it runs at 60FPS
It's practically the original version except 60FPS, widescreen and running at a higher res

This is exactly how I feel like. SA2 is a better game but while I'm fully aware that SA1 is janky as fuck and that the face animations look like a fucking joke, I still prefer it because of how soulful it is.
And I'm saying that having played SA2 first.

Fixed PC DX is superior to any DX version, it even has the DC lighting engine restored. Every vanilla DX version is completely fucked, GC included.
