Top Gear popularity is 100% piracy, then TG 3000 had a special chip and no one knows about it
Choplifter 3 was very popular too
Basically they wanted games with no chips and very small rom sizes, preferably no saves
I had a cart of Universal Soldier back in 1995, a game unreleased on SNES, and it was a beta, infinite lives and some dreadful music ported from the genesis. It's still around the web.
And then PSX opened the floodgates of CD piracy and all games were equally pirateable
