The need for ISA is overblown, my first pc was a 486 with a pci soundblaster, worked fine in most dos games. Its more important that it has agp, If you can get one with isa but if you can't you will just have less options. I got this old HP and the agp slot was not included, pretty crap for what was an expensive pc at the time.
