>They buy multiple shitty versions when they could invest in a ps Vita/psp and a nice n3dsxl and play wayyyy more games than these craphelds.
sure lad
>With gp32, gp2x, wiz, dingo, caanoo, Pyra, then I stopped at Gpd win. These chink handhelds are barely more powerful than a caanoo or psp that came out over a decade ago
nothing has changed mate, trust me. ARM chips never got more powerful, phones today are barely more powerful than PSP. even snapdragon 8 gen 2. PSP and 3DS just werk, they don't make 'em like this anymore.

On the MM+, wifi is a mixed bag.
1. Retroarch achievements are only registered while you are connected to wifi, no achieving something then reconnecting to wifi later. As the MM+ is a portable handheld, you won't have 24/7 wifi access if you ever leave your house.
2. Retroarch achievements took all the worst aspects of xbox achievements and looked at it as a check list. Most of the lists contain insane challenges that'll take thousands of hours to attain or are pure RNG. Shit is absolute trash.
3. Running Retroarch achievements adds strain to the system, to the point where they become unplayable on most PSX games, so it's SNES and below only. It also drains the battery faster running wifi.
4. Wifi multiplayer is great . . . when it works. You both have to be running the exact same OS, with the exact same emulation core. Some cores will randomly work for wifi with some games but not for others, so you'll have to dick around with settings and use trial and error before you get a game running properly.
5. Wifi multiplayer adds too much strain to the system to work with PSX or similar high end games.
6. Wifi multiplayer can't replicate a link cable, so no trading pokemon.
7. Wifi file transfer requires powershell commands or running software on your pc 24/7, it's less of a hassle to just transfer the micro sd card.
8. Wifi cloud saves are great if you feel like setting it up and for some reason want to play the exact same game on multiple devices. Be aware that save fie de-syncing is an ongoing problem and can destroy your saves.

tards like you never cease to amaze me.
3DS is weak as hell. it has a budget CPU from 2011. ANY chinkheld is gonna be more powerful. almost ANY chinkheld is gonna have a better screen.
>durable enough
haha.
>fits in pocket
just don't buy a huge device like Deck
>emulates and half natively plays a massive library
anything it "half natively plays" is ARM anyway. unless you're buying one of those powshitty devices under $100, you're gonna emulate same stuff and more.

so tired of you faggots. yep, your handheld from 2005 is totally the best machine for PSX, and every other platform while we're at it. because unlike all the "chink devices" from 2023, it was made by SONY (in China). who cares that it runs on an ancient CPU—it just werks because it's Sony. simple as.
