To be fair, that was "Gamestop New" meaning it was opened and may not have been brought home by an employee to play first and the disc kept behind the counter until it is placed back in. Games were affordable in those days when people were happy to get rid of games for under $2USD as it would be something for an item which did not bring them joy. These days I can't even buy stuff for a dollar at the dollar store.

I quit videogames around the time the Dreamcast died, so I haven't really kept up. There aren't even clearance sections for games in stores now so I've fallen really behind but I did hear they are remaking Silent Hill 2 again so the game could continue to live on.

As soon as I get the materials and learn to solder, I can replace the clock capacitor. Once that is done, I can't wait to catch up on all that I have missed.

Without them, I couldn't imagine affording the games I have. Sometimes, I prefer them since I like the cover more, for example I like the way DOA3 looks for its Platinum Hits version over the more common cover.

Sometimes I prefer the mass reprint cover better. Like DOA3, I think it looks real good. Besides, they tend to be much cheaper and affordable.

While I favor the Gamecube the most of those three, the best multiplats probably are on the Xbox. I think it is because it had the pixel shaders of a GeForce 3 backed by the horsepower of a Pentium 3 in a clean progressive output puts the visual quality above the Playstation versions. The larger DVD capacity and hard drive allowed for more songs and custom soundtracks which can trump some of the Gamecube versions.

Hell yeah! I've been meaning to catch up since I quit video games back when the Dreamcast died. How powerful of a processor and graphics card would this require?

It was devastating as I enjoyed the Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast greatly to see Sega unable to continue coupled with financial hardships at the time, quitting videogames was easy. The money situation has not improved much but there does seem to be a lot of great games I missed out on.

Got the latter, and I have heard of the former. When we get through this COVID thing, I'll be on the lookout for Stubbs. Loved Outrun Online Arcade which made me finally understand the series and 2 is pretty cheap, but Coast 2 Coast is out of my pay grade.

I had to get Gunvalkyrie, it's like a long lost Dreamcast title to me. I guess it is my fault for passing on the Hitman games. I keep hearing Blood Money is the one to go for and the new ones are really good leveraging beefy hardware. Is Contracts a good place to start or would you recommend starting from the beginning?

Thanks! Found a few more not on the shelf. Having quit videogames, I did miss out on Halo. I heard MCC allows you to switch to the originals, would that be acceptable or is it inauthentic? All these great titles you named, should be a lot to catch up to and find, I just fear the current prices I keep hearing about.
