I'm tired of westerners calling game center cabinets "candy cabinets".
They are not.
You ask anyone in Japan to describe a "candy cabinet" and this

is what they will think of. These are the cabinets that would be found in candy shops and they were made out of wood.

SNK made one single little metal cabinet and called it the "candy" and westerners started using that term to refer to all sit-down Japanese cabinets.
It's nonsense. An Astro City is not a "candy" cabinet. It's a premium game center cabinet meant to be installed en masse in a big game center in the big city downtown. As opposed to a real candy shop cabinet that is supposed to in a more residential area and only two or three cabinets at a time installed on wheels to be rolled out for the kids to play on their way home from school.
