The fondest memories I have are going to visit my cousins down south during the summer. One year we played Popeye for NES and Street Fighter II, another year he had the NiGHTS Into Dreams sampler which was the first and only time I played Saturn for years. I used to visit my cousins every summer and we would check out all of the new games that we had. And then came adulthood. Oh well

I just wanna play NiGHTS again.

My Saturn has been fucked for years. It won't spin discs anymore, I think the motor is busted. It eventually started going around maybe 2014 or so. It would spin any disc really slowly and then stop and now it doesn't at all. Is there any site or some shit that can fix Saturns or do I have to buy a new one? I want to play NiGHTS with my 3D Controller again.

Why do some people adamantly deny this being very similar to Sonic despite it having very similar themes, visuals, gameplay, and made by the same people?

Yep, when NiGHTS into Dreams launched on Saturn I would go to the Sega website every day and play the online NiGHTS minigame to try and log the high score. I also used mspaint to enter a sonic photo contest, I pasted him onto a beach and said "I caught Sonic chillin at the beach!" and I won third place.

Anyone have any suggestions for games to play when you're feeling down? I don't really have the motivation to play certain games lately. Played a little bit of FFVII before but I could only focus on it for a hour or so. Anyone else feel similar to me? What games do you play when you need something to occupy your mind.

20 years ago today NiGHTS released in Japan.

When did NiGHTS become the definitive Saturn game? I had a Saturn since 1995, and the only two titles that got any real buzz on the system were VF2 and Sega Rally. I know the system did a lot better in Japan, but looking at Japan's top 10 best selling Saturn games, Nights isnt even there. So where did the revisionist history come from?

NiGHTS is great too. Has that same great feeling where you're trying desperately to maintain your chain when it starts getting up there.
