Get a gnarly looking, original model PCE for $30 and call it a day. You can run it RF or get one of those Composite/RGB adapters from hong kong on eBay, they're brand new and work great. Pic related is RGB from a yellow 'untested' PCE I got on eBay with an aforementioned RGB adapter.

The Turbo EverDrive plays absolutely every HuCard game flawlessly, it's a worthwhile investment if you're interested in the console. The TED also works on PCE or TG16 consoles, and plays both regions games on either. You can even get chinese clones of the TED now, which might be a good idea since Krikzz hasn't updated the firmware for it since V2 anyway. It also functions as a Super CD-ROM2 card, which is cool if you have a working drive (which is unlikely). Also it has one of the best console ports of Space Invaders.

I thought RGB was a meme. I was wrong.
