>Aesthetically fits better with a Model 1 Genesis, but requires more wire hookups for that
>High hardware failure rate due to the motorized tray

Is there any reason to owning a Sega CD model 1 besides novelty? I've never even seen one in person before, as a kid I thought the model 2 was the only version.

I've got a model 1 Sega cd that isn't playing any bunrt games whatsoever.
It still plays the one legit game I own fine, but any burnt game isn't even recognized as a game. I've tried multiple methods with multiple burners with no success
Would this possibly be a laser issue? Would it be worth my time to try messing with the potentiometer on the laser assembly or should I buy a new laser replacement? Or is there some small step I'm missing in the burning process? I've used imgburn and alcohol. I've used premade .cue files and I've made my own. I've tried slowest speed burning and max speed burning. Nothing works.
