Has anyone ever completed the GTA 1 demo?

As you may remember, that demo had a time limit of six or seven minutes. I don't remember how much, and I can't find the demo anywhere, but it basically meant the game finished abruptly after playing for a while.

However, as a bored kid I have played that demo A LOT, having no access to a full version for a long time. And I think the demo is completable.

The trick is doing the right combination of select missions to get your multiplier up, then blowing stuff up I guess. I think I stumbled onto that by accident, and when I just blew up a massive pile of cars I parked right next to each other, my money suddenly turned red. I didn't know what that meant, and the time limit hit me a few seconds after that.

Later, when I got my hands on a full version, I realised I have gotten enough money to win the map. The question is, can you actually do that and then pickup the phone from Cabot and win the game. And what happens then? I would laugh if the demo was actually the full version with just the time limit on first map (though it probably isn't)

So, if anyone has done the impossible, ie completed the GTA 1 demo, please let me know. I would like to know how you did it.
