Comix Zone is a little like a beat em up where there's more of a game to it beyond just the beating up, but there's hardly anything else like it.

Not him but I like savescumming sometimes. It's a fun way to play through some games. I'm doing Comix Zone right now a couple of panels at a time and re-doing them over and over until I take as little damage as possible and then move on. It's fun to check the alternate routes, run them through a few times and decide which was better. It's a fun game and a fun way to go through it.
