my favorite video game franchise, even more beloved than halo.

i didnt beat a resident evil game until my teenage years lol, and it was the second one. i remember for the longest time i was sooooo scared of the licker crawling across the window i'd just play up until that room over and over again and stop once i reached the door....took me years to finally open it. and then i fucked the licker up. i was so mad.

code veronica is my favorite in the series, the true resident evil 3. i just love everything about it, the setting, the weapons, the bandersnatchers, just the whole first half of the game in general is 10/10.
the first resident evil has the best atmosphere though, its a perfect game. code veronica isnt perfect, yet its my favorite, but the first resident evil....perfection.

pic related is a little shrine i had up on my tv stand for a while, i took it down and integrated it all back into my collection, the fucking REmake2 is taking so god damn long and i was so hype im putting it away until its actually confirmed to being made
