While enjoyable for about 5 minutes, while the fact that it was released in arcades in June 1984 (that's less than a year after the release of the Famicom and 18 months before the American release of the NES) is impressive, it's just gimmicky garbage.

DKC1 was amazing for being a western platform game, if it weren't that DKC2 is probably the best retro platformer of all time we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

DKC was an amazing game, even if you don't put visuals into consideration.

Now I, Robot on the other hand...... all gimmick.
