I knew if I kept this thread around a few days I'd flush one of you guys out. I've heard some people say they're much better with an LCD screen refit, would you say stick with the original crt type screen if possible? I've seen some in nice condition and some scratched up/cracked, if I can get those I might mod them with a new screen but I'm not sure if that's defeating thne object of getting one tnbh.

1.5 hours? Yikes. Yeah there are some vids online that look doable, and I'm hoping to rescue some that would otherwise get thrown out or stripped for parts, if I can fit a new screen or something and save them I'll at least try. They do seem pretty cool and I am a bit of a sega fanboy.
