Something akin to old RPG huds that incorporated the aesthetics of the game into it by adding extra bits and pieces like figures holding the gauges, wood+cog animated backdrops etc.

I'd draw a succubus-hud that has sexy ladies holding the gauges for HP, Armor and ammp, but I can't draw for the life of me.
