Shame. The last Christmas/Halloween combo basically forgot about the Halloween part anyway. At least there are a couple of nice Halloween mods already out there, but just in case I'm missing some fun ones are there any you guys could recommend?
My usual Halloween night is spent playing the better maps of Spooktober.wad and some of Quake's Halloween Jam 2. The highlights of these maps capture that comfy and cheesy atmosphere you want for this occasion.

I have a yearly tradition of playing Spooktober.wad every Halloween evening, despite the varying quality of the maps. It's not Halloween if something isn't shitty and spooky, so I feel it's in the spirit of things. But I'm playing the second Quake Halloween Jam out of curiosity and it's honestly a lot better. I think I'll be adding this one to the rotation too.
It's really comfy and only let down by some maps being too spacious with nothing happening to warrant it and it not being Halloween right now.
