Apparently it’s “flame warring” on this board to say that Silent Hill has never been a very popular franchise in terms of raw sales data and just has an extremely vocal fanbase of pseudointellectuals on the internet thanks to SH2

Just beat this for the first time, got the bad ending. I don't know if I should play it again and attempt to get a better end or move to 2, I loved everything about this game except for the combat, towards the end bumping into enemies was just annoying rather than hair-raising.
