Don't. I loved the original and only played it four years ago, without any nostalgia (because I had a N64). The remake slows down everything to a halt, making every story scene feel like padding (because it is). When important key events occur, the tension is completely destroyed due to the slow pace of the game and therefore, the story is without purpose. Sephiroth also appears every 5 seconds, making it feel like a fan-game. The game-play is also really shit and boring. This remake is terribly mediocre.
