/vr/ - Retro Games

I find myself more likely to play doom multiplayer if someone tells me they are on a server, even if that server is 1/20 players. However, I don't join servers that only have one player on them otherwise. I feel like I'm not the only one who does this and it is probably the reason for doom multiplayer's inactivity despite the fact I constantly see people wanting to play it. If we had some sort of system that garuntees certainty that other players want to play without blindly joining a server I feel like it would fix that issue. Why don't we have some sort of /vrdoom/ irc server specifically for people seeking to play multiplayer doom. Once a server reaches above 2 players, that greatly raises the chance of others joining. Just a thought.
