/vr/ I have actually spend good time trying to understand these mini/classic versions of NES and SNES and the interest towards them but for the live of me I just don't get it:

First of all who are these targeted for? People who grew up with these systems or kids who have suddenly found an interest towards them after watching e-celebrities like AVGN talking about old NES and SNES games on Youtube? I am part of the former and guess what? I still have my NES, SNES and shitloads of games for both of them after collecting them for over 20 years since I haven't been aware of the law that you were supposed to sell your previous system and games for it when getting a next gen console. If the target demographic is the latter group, don't these retards rather watch people play video games instead of picking up the controller themselves? The point here is that changes are you already have the systems or don't want them to begin with.

But let's say you are someone who grew up with the systems but sold them for whatever reason. Why would you buy one of these instead of buying the original hardware and a flash cart for it? Not to mention things like virtual consoles and emulation being an option?

The only good thing about these systems I can think of on top pf my head is that they plug into modern TVs and should have little to no lag but then you fags tell me that you are only allowed to play /vr/ games via CTR TVs because it's what the developers intended.

Still given that people actually wants these things for reason I don't understand no matter how hard I try actually makes me want to try my hands at scalping as that is the only use for these things I can think of.
