Grind Session is a rather decent game.

Shame it got absolutely fucked over by THPS2, especially release date wise:

My contribution to the thread: Destruction Derby RAW. I don't think it's as appreciated as the first two due to the change of developer from Psygnosis to Studio 33 and the way the cars' changed from hyperspeed streamlined stockcars to very heavy and bulky normal cars, but the track designs are probably the best in the franchise (only challenged by DD2).
