Here's this "HypoSpray Gun" with 3 different things you can shoot yourself up with. Health just gives you health, Steroids seems to give you a bit more but then drains it away with a red screen + heartbeat sound, and Antidote removes that draining effect. In the context of the rest of the game, I don't know what the latter two would've done. Steroids don't seem to make you faster like in D3D, Antidotes probably would counteract some enemy attacks.

It's listed in the menu as EMP. There's a bootleg Terminator enemy in some maps, I'd guess it would disable him and any other potential cyber enemies.
