Ok, so let me get this thing straight:

The N64 had the best fps (Perfect Dark), the best adventure game (Ocarina of time), the best platformer (Banjo-Tooie), the best shooter (Rogue Squadron), the best party games (Mario Party, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc.), while the Playstation only had better RPGs and fighting games. They had a tie on sports and racing games.

And, still, there are people that think that the PS1 won the generation.

The N64 was not the most amazing console ever, but it was perhaps most famous for its multiplayer games. As one who wants to better understand what N64 owners played with their friends, what games really defined the N64 as the multiplayer machine?

Anyone else find it really tough to go back and play N64 games? They all have such a low framerate, so the games seem so, so slow.

I'm looking to buy an n64 on craigslist or at a flea market.
