The point is how these terms are so incredibly vague they can be stretched to mean anything. You can conceivably argue that Marble Madness is a City or a Factory setting. if you're actually fuckin serious you can message the people who did those runs. they will probably be pretty cool about helping you. it's more like "the entire community vs the game" rather than "speedrunner vs speedrunner", especially with less popular games. most runners are just happy to see someone else attempt anything at all in a game that they love.
