Making fun of edgy stuff I feel was warranted at one point, but I feel like it was part of a bad trend where now literally anything with any degree of harshness or dire tonality is considered to be "edgy"

I feel as though the term "edgy" has gone from meaning

To

The term is 100% a thought terminating cliche and an American corpo buzzword, because the only time you ever see it get used is in reference to harmless pop media and not towards anything genuinely pushing boundaries.
I can't count the amount of times I've seen someone make fun of edgy stuff only to turn around and drop soliloquies like an anime character and chimp out with a tough guy attitude when someone challenges them. Whereas most people who like it are incredibly friendly and nice.

They should make another Shadow game, one where he rides his badass motorcycle around the destroyed open world wastlelands and meets up with freedom fighters like Alex the Hedgehog while fighting supreme ruler Eggman.
