/v/ hates video games too though. As far as the ageposting goes I've found that the perception of people who were kids in the 90s are very different than people who were adults in the 90s and even though those kids are like 30 now it still gets them pissed to suggest that their perceptions are based on somewhat childish nostalgia. It really hit me when I actually got into an argument with a poster even older than I am that illustrated my childish perception of the gaming scene in the early to mid 80s.
