other parts of the "article" say that unreal levels are more dreamy but they all take place in the same Place
whereas Quake levels can be all over the place disjointed, which even if you consider its explained by teleporting or going to other dimensions... sounds like a weak excuse for a game plot.

Dude pretty much said Quake's game design is shit and said that Unreal had superior game design.

I originally got Unreal Tournament, I skipped past Unreal. Later on when I played Unreal I didnt bother even finishing it, I only got up to about the point where you get the stinger. Even back when I was a teen I wouldn't have liked this game.
