Na-Krul is kind of a complete bitch, honestly. I put up Fire Wall and Lightning Wall in front of his door, and then he wouldn't come out of his box at all, then spamming him with Lightning he was done in just a couple few seconds. Kinda blueballing, "... that's it?"

I know reading the books halves his HP, but yanking on the lever would then just have left him to eat Lightning for a couple more seconds before melting into a puddle (he leaves a very lame corpse for a major demon). I don't feel THAT overleveled considering I have to very carefully inch my way through Hell for all the Lightning Demons, Hellsluts, and Evil Mages down there, and the dual immune skeleton demons in the Crypt were obnoxious as fuck to deal with, especially in groups, they were a sweatier proposition than Na-Krul.

I must assume that his fight was designed with the Warrior and Rogue in mind. Also I'm not all that thrilled by the reward of the Apocalypse spell book because Hellfire nerfed the Apocalypse spell so that it only works on enemies in direct line of sight, making it dramatically less useful.

UMAPINFO doesn't affect the PRNG, you fucking doublenigger, so it will not desync on that point, but what it does affect is map order, and things like 666/667 specials, as well as if a level allows the player to be telefragged.
Now, where would these things be relevant? It wouldn't be in any demo recorded in a levelset where this isn't changed, a Doom 2 demo will record and run as normal in its given complevel, regardless of if it's being recorded in an older version of PrBoom+ or in DSDA (which supports UMAPINFO).
If a demo is recorded for a mapset which uses UMAPINFO, that would be preciously irrelevant to an older port where such a mapset wouldn't run anyway.

The ONLY way which UMAPINFO would desync an old demo would be if you for *completely inexplicable reasons* loaded a UMAPINFO lump that changed the level order/specials when playing up an old multi-level demo, which is on the same level as stapling your ballsack to your inner thigh and then complaining to Office Depot that you're walking funny.

You don't have a valid excuse to be this inexplicably retarded.

A little over a year ago, I posted a thread here with a gif of a nes game I was developing. The gif used temp sprites from well-known nes games because I was still working out the engine/mechanics. The thread turned into a giant shitshow with a bunch of assholes screaming at me for using temp assets and for daring to code the game one way rather than another way. It ruined my enthusiasm for the project and I haven’t worked on it since.
I hope every pathetic overweight shithead in that thread has died of covid or heart disease by now.
