/vr/ - Retro Games

I vastly prefer the Mario & Luigi games as well as the Paper Mario series over SMRPG. It's still a good game, but I just feel like M&L and PM were a lot more memorable in terms of presentation and game play, while SMRPG was just a watered down FF game with a Mario skin. Although, they're all pretty on par in terms of writing. I can actually think a few funny moments from all three.

I also don't get why Geno is put on such a pedestal. He was a decent party member from what I remember, but as a character there really wasn't a whole lot there I found to be all that interesting.

Also he doesn't join Mario's party, he just drafts everyone into his army.
