Best old /sniper/ games?

Pic-related is solid, with great pacing, ambience and balance (on hardest). Varied missions, from hostage-rescue, to assassination. The AI is both competent and unpredictable: hiding well, honing-in, helping the wounded, fighting factionally. The sniper kill-cam is iconic and you have a varied inventory. Yet despite being so technically competent, the art really fails to distinguish it from other good military games.
