As much as I think Swatting demons would be a cool idea for a mod they completely fucked it up by not even trying to make them look like UAC marines, hell all it takes is green armor and a spacey looking helmet.
Any generic space marine design would have been better than this, Its the first movie all over again.

But then again I had no expectations to begin with.

I remember when you shared some ideas you had for possible new playable classes here, I was pretty stoked back then, Im glad I helped rekindle that, even if just by a little bit.

I started with some snippets of gameplay to set up the video, but so far I only did a quick rundown on source ports, Chocolate, Crispy, GZDOOM and PRBOOM+ and a quick shoutout to zandronum, the real meat is going to be rather simple showcase of gameplay mods and maps

the whole thing is basically a ripoff of the prodoomer monster strats style wise, so you wont hear my horrible accent on a cheapass mic
so far I featured clips from:

GMOTA

besides expanding on those I plan to cover Pillow mods, HND+Strange Aeons, LTG, D4T/D4D, Doom Incarnate/kriegsland, colorful hell, champions, HD, Space Hunter, BURL TUMD, MSX, GMOTA Im sure Im forgetting some

how would your list of "must play maps" look like?

You got your scythes, Vendetta, memento mori, hell revealed, but do you also consider modern stuff like AA and GD?
do you go by historical importance or prioritize whats fun to play?

I have this little dumb idea for a community project:
I would call it "In the realms of vanilla" it would be a collection of maps specifically designed for gameplay mods, yeah it would be a bit annoying to have to change wads every time you finish a level, but you would have a hub area like in compendium so you don't have use the console to jump around levels

sadly Im just learning to map so I still dont have the technical knowhow to put all that shit together

Just played Hideous Destructor with Diabolus Ex, a surprisingly good fit, I still have no idea how the Cyberdemon on the cyber bridge suicided himself however.
And the final battle in the roof would have been fucking impossible if not for me finding a backpack with two of those ghost marine summons.
