There's your first mistake.

Anyway, I scored a brand N64 with 1 controller in excellent condition for 30 the other day. Got a Playstation with cables (but no controllers or memory cards) for 5 bucks at Goodwill today. I got Smash bros and another N64 for 30 at Goodwill. Reselling that shit. Don't care for Smash.

Realism would be the immersing factor here.

Sage for off-topic.

It's all pretty much the same. There's plenty of shovelware bullshit on new and old systems. There are still gems in the current gen as there is in retro vidya. It's all about longevity of the console your talking about. Gaming is still as bad as it's ever been.

People herald games like FF or LttP (just examples, people) as these golden-age epics and they're just as trite and tropey as any modern day game. You people are starting to sound like your parents. "Back in my day..."
