Should I use Trenchbroom instead of J.A.C.K Hammer for making Quake maps? I was already using J.A.C.K to make HL1 maps and it says it can make Quake 1, 2 and 3 maps.

I got J.A.C.K configured for Quake and started making a map. Everything is working fine but I am curious if Trenchbroom is a better choice instead.

Everyone here tried Qore?It's a mode that adds more gibbing and blood on Quake.
I think it's pretty good even if I still don't understand why there is a sprint and a kick.Especially with Quake enemies.
