This was the first time I ever felt like there is 'life' and comfiness in games. I was totally blown away by the concept of an actual small village existing inside of a game.

(I know there were cities in Link's Adventure and Castlevania 2 etc. but they didn't feel comfy to me as a kid)

Kakariko was the first time I felt like just cruising around and exploring the village, far away from the monsters and fucked up things that want to kill you all the time.

Not much later I got a copy of Ultima-VII and that was obviously a different dimension, but at the time, this was peak for me.

Link to the Past always felt "off" to me. The world feels empty and disconnected, and the NPCs feel like they have no character or motivations.

Not a very interesting choice but it's what I thought of first. Both the music and the design are super comfortable.
