Literally have better reaction times and will suck if you don't adapt. Doom zombies at least gave you a frame of animation before shooting you, Blood's cultists occasionally don't.

same here man. Tried playing Duke, just couldn't get into it. Picked up Blood and have had a fucking blast playing it so far. Don't know why people recommend Duke so much, Blood is an infinitely better game

Fuck, that's terrible man. Me too i'm starting to develop some problems eye-related, for now i'm using some reading glasses but that will not be enough for the long term, i think. Ironically i have motion sickness too, but luckily it's something that i perceive when i move IRL, and not on videogames. I seriously hope the thing doesn't grow bigger by the day or else me too i won't be able to enjoy my favorite games. I can only pray for the both of us

Does anyone have the process of how ID or Monolith did their monsters with maquettes? I think they used cheap movable figures made of painted clay and aluminum wires, but I'm uncertain of the entire process. I want to make my mod in the old fashioned way.

Maquettes anon from the last thread here, I'm starting to draw some concepts and getting the materials to make maquettes and animate my NPCs with them, will release everything when it's done.
But I have another question, not related to modelling but for the engine that I'm going to use. Originally I was going to use doom engine to do my mod but I'm seriously curious about Build. I want to know your experience for those who tried to mod in Build Engine, and not only mapping, but also creating NPCs, HUDs, weapons, etc. I really want to create my mod in Build now, but since their games, let's say Duke Nukem 3D, has so few mods compared to Doom, it makes me think that it's way harder to mod than Doom. Am I wrong? Is it really harder? Also, it seems impossible to me to look for tutorials and guides other than mapping. Do anyone of you have any handy guide for modding in Build/Duke Nukem 3D?
