Not a retro story, but related. I'm from a pretty rough area, I drive +30 miles to this posh community to buy a PS3 on craigslist. I get to this big ass house and ring the door bell and people answer and take me inside. The PS3 is sitting there next to a kid who looks real nervous. So I say "can I see it turn on?" and they tell little Jimmy or whatever to take me to his room to plug it in and turn it on
