This is the correct answer BUT I had to do some tinkering with these to make the game crash less. I cant remember exactly what I did but do I know that the order you install them is can affect stability. Try installing them the way they recommend and if that doesn't work try other orders and try messing with the patch cfg files which can change performance. Turn off antivirus and EVERYTHING else in the background.

I kept getting memory errors when opening doors and picking up certain items. Everything I mentioned HELPED but the thing that fully stopped the crashing was reducing the resolution to one step below my desktops native resolution.

Are there any packs out there of prepatched roms that are actually up to date? Seems like a lot of them haven't been updated in the last couple years. It's such a pain in the ass having to patch every individual rom yourself but maybe a prepacked set would be a good starting point then i can make a more up to date set for people.

Is there anyone in the Fallout games more bro-tier than Marcus?
