I don't think "On a Rail" is that bad,same for "Xen".
I don't feel there was a chapter I found bad in HL,just mediocre at worst

I ended up enjoying the Half Life soundtrack a lot more,I didn't like how the tracks don't last that long but the lack of it for the most part actually sets the atmosphere.

The few ones that don't sound weird on a loop are Military Precision and Nuclear Jam.

There are some mods that try to recreate the beta and even Alpha content. Absolute Zero features this creature and some new ones and the level layout is different as well.
